The annual Iris Festival takes place in May and showcases Keizer’s iris-growing industry. Neighboring Schreiner’s Iris Gardens are the world's largest full bearded-iris growers. The festival has been facilitated by the Keizer Chamber of Commerce since 1987. Events include a carnival, a beer garden, craft and food vendors, the Willamette Valley Marathon (3K 5k-10K-1/2 Marathon), a vintage car show, and the largest parade in the Willamette Valley.
